Gov. Jay Nixon today appointed LaGreta Hudson, a Columbia Democrat, to the State Committee of Dietitians. The six-member committee is responsible for the licensing and discipline of dietitians in the state.
A registered dietitian, Hudson has been an instructor and clinical dietitian for the University of Missouri since 2003.
She is an independent contractor for Longitude Health Inc. and a clinical dietitian at Jefferson City Medical Group’s Weight Treatment Center.
Hudson’s term will run until June 11, 2013.
