Extreme Couponing in Columbia... Savings that you can find

So update on my couponing progress!

Although no where in town accepts double coupons, I have been able to save quite a bit of money on healthy food and home care items.

Amount I have saved so far: In 2 weeks I have saved about 60.00 and have not bought anything in bulk or that I didn't truly need.

The key to savings:
- Do not buy things that you wouldn't normally buy.
- Make sure you are saving money by using the coupon, other brands may still be a better deal.
- Stay organized, Hobby Lobby sells baseball card inserts which work great for your coupons
- Bring your coupon binder to the store every time, you never know what will be on sale.

So where are the savings??? I have had the most couponing success at Gerbes but HyVee will have great produce sales (view weekly ads or my blog) that do not require coupons.
- Gerbes Plus Card and On line coupons: Easy to upload coupons directly to your plus card. Just make sure that you read the fine print in order to get the savings.
- Sunday papers have many coupons that you can cut the old fashioned way
- My office! I have coupons for many healthy things including Fiber One Cereal, Egg beaters, Healthy Choice frozen dinners, Pam cooking spray and more! Ask me for some at your next nutrition counseling session!
