Marinaded Veggie Salad, a Newmark Family Favorite

For best results, make this dish at least 24 hours ahead of time.


  • 1 bottle of light or fat free Wishbone or Kraft Italian salad dressing (Sorry Dad, you know me, I had to modify it)
  • 1 head fresh broccoli
  • 1 head fresh cauliflower
  • 1 box cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 3-5 celery stalks, sliced into short pieces (not sticks)
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 small bag baby carrots
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • a few radishes, sliced
  • 1 can black olives, whole and drained
    • Any veggies can be added or omitted from this recipe

  1. Wash and prepare the above ingredients. 
  2. Add all the ingredients in an airtight container or bag and shake to mix.
  3. Shake occasinally throughout the day.

How easy is that?
