Flat Branch Offers a Few Truely Healthy Dishes

Flat Branch has made a few changes to their menu and recipes. After my trip there this past weekend, I learned the following:

The menu item called the "Paleo Platter" consistes of your choice of meat and a large side of sauteed vegetables.

The side choice "sauteed vegetables" consistes of onions, yellow squash, red and green peppers, and broccoli. In the past, oil was used to sautee the vegetables. Now they are sauteed in vegetable broth with garlic and other seasonings. They are soooo good!

Another menu item that is a good option is the "roasted vegetable and hummus wrap". The actual wrap probably contains the majority of the calories from this meal so its best to share this with a friend. Or, if you are willing to take a few odd stairs, you could it eat the wrap like me and disect it so that you only eat the inside.

I am definetly going to try sauting vegetables at home using vegetable broth and garlic now.
